Chikmagalur: 62-year-old man dies of COVID-19, district records 3rd fatality

Chikmagalur: A 62-year-old man died due to COVID-19 on July 10 taking the district toll to 3.

The deceased is a resident of the Chikmagalur city market road.

It is gathered that he was infected with COVID-19 on July 2 and was admitted to the hospital. However, he succumbed to COVID-19 at 3:30 Am on Friday.

The health officials have informed that he was also suffering from diabetics, breathing-related ailments.

As of Thursday, the infected cases stood at 130. 71 patients have been recovered, while 56 active patients are treated in the hospital.
