Karnataka: 2,313 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

Bengaluru: COVID-19 crisis continues in the State with 2,313 new COVID-19 cases detected in the past 24 hours on Friday, July 10.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the State has now increased to 33,418. Presently, the active cases stand at 19,035 of these 472 are undergoing treatment in ICU.
1,003 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery.
Once again Bengaluru Urban district has emerged as the highest contributor of COVID-19 cases with 1,447 detected on Friday.
139 cases were detected in Dakshina Kannada district, 89 in Vijaypura, 66 in Bellary, 58 in Kalaburagi, 51 in Mysuru and Yadgiri, 34 in Udupi and 13 in Chamarajanagar.
57 people died of COVID-19 in the State on Friday. The total COVID-19 death toll in the State has increased to 543.
