Karnataka: PUC I supplementary exams cancelled

Bengaluru: The first PUC supplementary examination, scheduled between July 16 to 27, have been canceled in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis in the State, Education Minister Suresh Kumar said.

About 60,000 students were supposed to appear in this examination and it was decided that the examinations were to be administered by the colleges and the results were to be declared on July 30.

The minimum marks required for passing the examination will be awarded by the college.

The minister also said that the students who were absent for the regular examination would be re-evaluated by the college shortly before the first PUC examination and after the second PUC exam. The examination will be re-evaluated by the college.

The minister made it clear that only those students who are not allowed to attend the annual examination due to lack of attendance will be passed.
