Bajilkeri brawl: Police arrest 11 persons

Mangaluru: Eleven persons have been apprehended by the police in connection with the late night brawl at Bajilkeri here on Monday, July 13.

Four persons were injured in the said assault which occurred due to pre-existing enmity between two gangs – one led by Ajay Prasad and the other by a Abdul Rashid.

In this connection the police filed cases against both the gangs and arrested 11 members of both the gangs namely – Abdul Rashid, Mohammed Hamiz, Jiyad Ayyub, Mohammed Ashiq, Mohammad Imran, Safwan, Mohammad Nawaz, Nawaz Shariff , Ajay Prasad, Vijay Prasad, and Gururaj.

Meanwhile another accused is absconding.
