Udupi: 53 new COVID-19 cases on July 15

Udupi: 53 people in the district were diagnosed with COVID-19 on July 15. With this, the cumulative total of COVID-19 cases in the district has increased to 1,786.

Two physician and four staff members on duty at the Udupi district hospital have been confirmed as positive for COVID-19. Two members of the Udupi town council too have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

885 samples were tested for COVID-19 out of which 832 were negative and 53 positive.

Till date, a total of 1,382 people have recovered and been discharged from hospitals in the district.

Presently, there are 401 active COVID-19 cases in the district.
