Over 3000 Covid 19 cases in K’taka; tally surges to 47253

Bengaluru: In the biggest single-day spike, Karnataka reported 3176 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, July 15 taking the tally of those infected to 47253 in the state.

In the last 24 hours, 1076 patients were discharged and 87 deaths occurred. Till date, 18,466 persons have recovered and 928 deaths are reported. Out of the 27853 active cases, 597 are admitted in the ICU.

Districtwise Bengaluru reported 1975 cases, Dharwad (139), Bellary (136), Mysuru (99), Vijayapura (80) and Dakshina Kannada (76).
