Teachers, non-teaching staff can work from home till July 31: HRD Ministry

In a circular sent to higher education regulators, the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has said that teachers, researchers and non-teaching staff should be permitted to work from home till July 31

The circular stated that online education and distance learning was key in the current situation and it shall continue to be permitted and shall be encouraged. All teachers, researchers and staff members will be counted ‘on duty’ while pursuing work from home

The circular has also suggested that all the students and faculty members download the Aarogya Setu app to be well informed

It also said that the all staff members should utilize this time to brush up on their academic skills and learn new teaching techniques with the extra time in their hands.
