Bengaluru: 60-year-old Covid-19 patient ends life

Bengaluru: A 60-year-old Covid-19 patient allegedly committed suicide in her ward at a private hospital in the early hours of Friday, July 17.

The deceased woman was a resident of Mariyappanapalya near Jnanabharathi in West Bengaluru.

As per sources, was admitted to the hospital on July 1 and was found hanging from a window grille in the passage of the COVID ward on July 17. She had used her sari to hang herself. She was responding well to the treatment and was almost cured. H

The police suspect that the woman may have committed suicide due to depression.
