Hunsur: Despite Sunday lockdown meat shops open

Hunsur: Even though there is a Sunday lockdown across the state, meat sales are being held in the city and at the Mookanahalli Gate on the highway near the city.

Due to its proximity to the city and being on the Mangaluru-Mysuru highway, the meat shops at Mookanahalli Gate are doing good business as the meat shops in the city are closed due to the Sunday lockdown.

Customers at these shops were seen violating all lockdown norms including not wearing facemasks and maintaining social distancing.
