K’taka: DD to broadcast classes for secondary school students till Dec

Bengaluru: The State government has sanctioned the project of teaching students of standards 8th, 9th and 10th through the Doordarshan Chandana television channel till December.
The project will be handled by the Director of the Education Department and includes one teacher supervising twenty students.
The teacher will have to conduct an examination every month.
The State government will be paying approximately Rs 1.5 crore to Doordarshan for the project.
