Viral video of biker riding at 300 kmph: B’luru police trace biker, seize vehicle

Bengaluru: Bengaluru police on Tuesday traced the biker who had made viral a video of him riding his 1000 cc bike at a dangerous speed of almost 300 kmph on a flyover in Electronic City here and seized his bike.

The video of the bike zooming past other vehicles was likely shot from a camera mounted in the rider’s helmet, informed Bengaluru Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime Sandeep Patil.

“This video was made viral by the rider.. going at a dangerous speed of almost 300 kmph at Ecity flyover putting his own & others life at risk..CCB traced the rider & seized bike Yamaha 1000 CC.. handed over to traffic,” he tweeted

Reacting to Patil’s tweet, Bengaluru Traffic Police via their official twitter handle asked Jurisdictional Electronic City Traffic Police Station to initiate necessary action.

According to a media report, an Instagram account called bluebeast46 features this particular video as well as those of other bikers riding at dangerous speeds.
