Sushant dropped ‘Hasee toh Phasee’ as he needed validation from YRF: Anurag Kashyap

Anurag Kashyap has revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to star in 2014 film ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ but he dropped the project as he required Yash Raj Films’ validation.
It is said that he instead signed YRF’s 2013 film ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’. Anurag Kashyap in his recent interview claimed that when Anurag approached Sushant for the film, Sushant spoke to YRF but YRF gave him a deal and said that they will sign him up, but Sushant will have to do Shudh Desi Romance. He signed up with YRF and dropped Hasee Toh Phasee
Anurag said that Sushant dropped the film because he needed validation from YRF and it is very common in the industry.
