Udupi: Physician arrested for seeking loan with false documents

Kaup: A physician and a man have been arrested for trying to avail a loan from the Bank of Baroda branch here using false documents.
The physician, Dr Rinet D’Souza had applied for a car loan at the bank claiming to be an employee of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).
She had submitted false salary slips of MAHE which were made by Vijay Kothari.
The bank on verification with MAHE found out D’Souza’s claims to be false and registered a complaint at Kaup police station.
The police have arrested both D’Souza and Kothari.
