Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti reveals reason behind family not demanding for CBI Probe

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput’s elder sister, Shweta Singh Kirti shared on social media the reason behind the family has not demanded the investigation of the death be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
A Facebook user asked Shweta on Twitter when the whole country is supporting for a CBI inquiry, why the family is not demanding for CBI inquiry.
In response to this, Shweta commented, “We were waiting for Mumbai police to finish the investigation and come up with their reports.”
Sushant Singh’s tragic death on June 14 has shaken up the film industry as many allegations surfaced on sidelining Sushant by people in Bollywood.
According to his post-mortem report, the cause of death was asphyxia due to hanging.
The viscera report of the late actor has ruled out any foul play in his death here last month, a police official said on Monday, July 27.
“The Mumbai police, probing the case of alleged suicide by Rajput, has received his viscera sample report which came “negative”, indicating no foul play in his death,” he said.
