After first FIR in Sushant’s suicide, actress Rhea Chakraborty likely to apply for anticipatory bail

Mumbai: Actress Rhea Chakraborty who has been accused of abetment to suicide among other charges in Sushant Singh suicide case is likely to apply for anticipatory bail after the Bihar police registered an FIR against her.

Notably this happens to be the first FIR filed in the case. The Mumbai police which is probing the case had lodged an ADR (Accidental Death Report) on June 14, the day Sushant committed suicide.

Following the FIR, Rhea consulted her lawyers and an anticipatory bail plea will be filed at a Mumbai sessions court today.

In his complaint, Sushant’s father accused Rhea and her family of abetment to suicide, cheating, criminal conspiracy and other offences. Sushant’s father has claimed that he has evidence regarding huge money withdrawals from Sushant’s bank account.

Further he said that Sushant in a telephonic call to his sister had stated that Rhea who had taken his medical prescriptions along with her at the time of leaving his house had threatened to reveal them to media, after which no one was going to give him work. He also allayed fear that Rhea would cause harm to him

Sushant’s sister Meetu Singh will be recording her statement with Bihar police today.
