Covid-19: BBMP suspends licence of 19 private hospitals

Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike suspended licences of 19 hospitals in south zone for failing to reserve 50% of beds for Covid patients on Thursday, July 30
The decision was taken after an official inspection was conducted in the south zone. Also, complaints have been filed against the hospitals and banners have been put up in front of the hospitals.
However, it is said that the hospitals will function as usual and patients can avail treatments and facilities
The hospitals losing licences are, Vinayaka hospital, Prashanth hospital and Radhakrishna hospital in Basavanagudi, Anugraha Vittal Hospital, Radha Krishan Hospital and Gangothri hospital
