Hassan: Fearing suspension, PSI commits suicide

Hassan: Police sub-inspector (PSI) Kiran Kumar (35) who was in charge of Channarayapatna police station allegedly committed suicide at his quarters in the Channarayapatna town on Friday, July 31.
Two murders were reported within his station limits in the past 24 hours, and rumors being spread on social media blamed it on police negligence. Kiran was upset due to this.
Just an hour before his suicide, he had told his colleagues that he fears suspension.
However, the exact cause for his death is yet to be ascertained
Kiran hailing from Lalanakere in Arasikere and was alone when the incident took place. His wife and 2 kids had gone to his native for the Varamahalakshmi festival on Thursday.
