Kaup: ‘Samudra Pooja’ and ‘Kshirabhisheka’ performed at beaches

Kaup: Many fishermen and others performed Samudra Pooja and Kshirabhisheka on many places in the taluk.
The rituals were carried out in cooperation of residents of Kaup, Polipu, Kaipunjal, Muluru.
Every year the Samudra Pooja and Kshirabhisheka are held on the occasion of Noola Hunnime across parts of coastal Karnataka.
Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon was also present on the occasion.
