Udupi: 21-year-old killed in road mishap

Udupi: In a tragic accident a 21-year-old lost his life on Monday, August 3 after he was hit by a speeding car.

The deceased is Aakash Poojary, a resident of Kumbragodu, and was working in Mangaluru.

As per sources, Aakash and his friend Sharath were talking to each other on the roadside on Kundapur-Udupi highway, meanwhile, a speeding Swift Dzire car moving from Udupi to Kundapur car flipped over the divider and eventually hit Aakash. Though he was rushed to the hospital doctors declared him brought dead.

The car was driven by a person named Preetham.

Brahmavar police have registered a case with this regard.
