Karnataka floods: NDRF, ANF officials rescue 15 stranded people

Chikmagalur: The officials from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Anti Naxal Force (ANF) have rescued 15 people who were stranded due to the Tungabadra river floods on Friday, August 7.
Tungabadra river has been flooded due to the heavy rain in the region and Kurubakere, Gandhi Maidana area was completely flooded on Friday.
Around 15 people were stranded in Kurubakere Village.
NDRF and ANF teams who were tasked in the rescue operation have searched and successfully rescued them in 2 hours.
