Shivamogga: There has been heavy rain in several parts of the state which has damaged several houses leaving many stranded. But, the floods have not only caused trouble to humans but also snakes.
In Shivamogga, several snakes have been found coiling around trees to save themselves from the flowing water. More than 10 snakes have been found near Tunga bridge in Shivamogga.
Snakes often become displaced after a storm or flooding event. .As a result, many of these animals seek shelter and food in areas close to people which also poses a risk to the residents.
