K’taka COVID-19 update: 6670 new cases; 3951 discharges; 101 deaths

Bengaluru: 6,670 new cases of COVID-19 were reported across the State in the last 24 hours from Thursday, August 6 evening to Friday, August 7 evening.

In the same period, 3,951 people recovered from the virus and were discharged from hospitals and 101 people infected by the virus died.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the State now stands at 1,64,924 and the total death toll has increased to 2,998.

Presently, there are 77,686 active COVID-19 in the state, 678 of whom are in Intensive Care Units.
