PM to review K’taka flood situation on Mon

Bengaluru: Overflowing rivers and flood-like situation along with landslides continue to threaten lives and property as torrential rains continue to lash across several parts of Karnataka.
It is gathered that Prime Minister Modi will review the flood situation in the state via video conferencing on Monday.
Home Minister Basavraj Bommai and Revenue Minister R Ashok will brief the PM of the prevailing situation and the extent of damage that has been caused so far. Monetary assistance will be sought from the Centre for flood relief works.
Many people have been killed, including five in Kodagu itself due to rain-related mishaps
