Belagavi: Boy clears SSLC papers with 48.64%, video of villagers celebrating goes viral!

Belagavi: A student passed the SSLC exam by scoring 48.64% and the localities celebrated the result on Monday, August 10.
The results were announced on Monday. Samarth Govilakar, a student hailing from Badur Galli passed in the exam.
His friends celebrated this by throwing colored powder at the boy and mocked him by putting up a cutout of the boy with 48 in small font and 64 in a bigger font.
Around 30 localities were part of the celebration and videos have gone viral on social media.
The overall SSLC pass percentage recorded this year is 71.80%. The pass percentage has dipped this year compared to last year. Last year the overall pass percentage was 73.7 percent.
