Kadur: Former legislator YSV Datta, who is also called Datta Master has been receiving hundreds of congratulatory messages on social media after SSLC examinations results were declared on the afternoon of Monday, August 10.
Datta has home tutored thousands of students in mathematics and science from the past 40 years.
Since the COVID-19-induced lockdown in the State, Datta has been teaching mathematics and science to SSLC students through social media.
Many parents have shared their joy stating that Datta’s lesson helped their children in learning difficult mathematical equations.
“After watching your online classes, my son has achieved distinction. You have taught all children for free. There is no way to pay for your service. May your love and blessings help more students,” Lokesh Gowda, a parent, said.
Sayed Khalil from Jalahalli stated that thousands of children in the State have benefitted from you. You are an inspiration for all of us with your selfless service.
Your lessons helped my daughter score full marks in mathematics, said Kempegowda Harsha.
There is always a bigger reward for selfless services sir, said Shastri.
For a teacher, there is nothing more sweeter than their student’s results. I too am a teacher. I pray that your tutoring and your students continue to grow every year, said Santosh Joshi.
