Bengaluru: In less than three months after the death of ganglord-turned-social activists Muthappa Rai, his second wife has sued his sons from his first marriage for a one-third share in all his properties.
Anuradha had married Rai in 2016, three years after the death of his first wife Rekha.
Her lawyer stated there was no will created by Rai before his death and the family could not agree on a settlement.
Rai’s sons, Ricky and Rocky, have been summoned by the court on August 24, he added.
Rai’s known properties include big parcels of lands at Bengaluru, Mysuru, Shimoga and Mandya and his 11 cars.
