Dwarf planet Ceres is an ‘ocean world’ sea water beneath surface: Study

According to a recent study, Ceres, the largest object in asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, is an “ocean world”
According to The Guardian, a team of scientists from the United States and Europe have analysed images relayed from the orbiter, captured about 35km (22 miles) from the asteroid.
The findings confirm the presence of a subsurface reservoir of brine, salt-enriched water remnants of a vast subsurface ocean that has been gradually freezing.
Also, Scientists claims that the “mysterious” bright spots on Ceres are salt crusts left behind by this water, which percolated up to surface and evaporated.
