CCB sleuths arrest 60 more including corporator’s husband in Bengaluru riots case

Bengaluru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) police have raided several places overnight in DJ Halli, KG Halli, and arrested nearly 60 accused on Thursday, August 13.

The police have raided areas based on the video evidence of riot at Srinivas Murthy’s home, DJ Halli, and KG Halli police station. It was reported that 60 persons were arrested by CCB police.

They have arrested Corporator Irshad Begam’s husband Kaleem Pasha. It is gathered that he was in front of the police station before the incident.

Around 206 accused have been arrested and 12 cases have been registered in two police stations, out of which, 2 cases have been handed over to CCB.
