Hubli: The flight carrying 49 passengers including Uttara Kannada Member of Parliament Anant Kumar Hegde was struck in mid-air for over an hour due to weather change on Sunday, August 16.
The Bengaluru – Hubli flight was scheduled to land in Hubli airport at 8:55 Am. However, as there was no favorable signal due to weather conditions, the flight was rotating in the sky for over an hour.
The flight landed safely at 10:25 Am.
All the 49 passengers including Ananth Kumar Hegde came out safely. The same flight is scheduled for a return trip today.
The Aircrew was planning to land the flight in Goa or Mangaluru airport in case of any further delay.
