After Indian cricketer MS Dhoni made the big announcement of his international retirement at 19:29 PM IST on August 15, Food delivery app Zomato made a special announcement for people staying in Ranchi as the 39-year old hailed from the city.
Zomato’s tribute to Captain Cool was a 100 percent discount (of up to Rs 183) for everyone ordering food in the capital of Jharkhand.
Zomato in a tweet revealing the discount offer wrote, “A gift for the city that gifted India a legend!.”
Following the tweet by Zomato, a Twitter user requested the food delivery app to provide the offer for the whole country, claiming that he brought glory for the nation and not just Ranchi.
“He might be from Ranchi but the whole INDIA loves the Legend. Why not make this offer available for Pan India? (sic)” a Twitter user wrote. Zomato replied to this with a hilarious a Hera Pheri meme that has left netizens giggling.
Here’s the meme share by Zomato:

“Brother, I don’t have that much money,” the translated meme read.
Zomato’s response has collected nearly 4,000 ‘likes’ and a ton of amused comments.
MS Dhoni on August 15 took to Instagram to announce his international retirement and thanked his fans and posted a video of moments from his glittering career. Once the news came to light, tributes started pouring in from all corners – while some expressed their disappointment over his decision, some thanked him and wished him the very best for his life after cricket.
