Udupi: 421 COVID-19 cases detected on Aug 18

Udupi: 421 COVID-19 cases were registered in the district on Tuesday, August 18.
203 cases were reported in Udupi taluk, 158 in Kundapur taluk, 50 in Karkala taluk and 10 were from other districts.
101 men and 41 women amongst the new cases were with symptoms while 123 men and 156 women were asymptomatic.
Of the total 421 cases reported on Tuesday, 126 were admitted to designated COVID-19 hospitals and COVID Care Centres while the remaining 295 were processed for home isolation.
