‘Tulu boards campaign’ to begin soon: Dadayanda Kattalsar

Bajpe: All boards on the roadside, bus stops, markets and other public places within the limits of the Panchayat here can have its content in Tulu along with Kannada said Tulu Sahitya Academy’s chief Dadayanda Kattalsar.
Kattalsar was at the Bajpe Gram Panchayat office and met the Panchyat Development Officer there and consulted with them about his proposal.
Speaking on the occasion, Kattalsar said Tulu language has its own script. The signatures of seers of mathas in Tulunadu are in Tulu. There are several people working for the promotion of Tulu. Thus, the City Corporation’s street names and names of the institutions should be in Tulu along with English and Kannada.
He also stated that let the Tulu campaign start from the Bajpe village. Yuva Tulunad and Jai Tulunad members are willing to write the boards in Tulu script.
PDO Sayeesh Chauta congratulated Dayananda Kuttalsar on the occasion.
Businessman Krishna Kallodi and lawyer Vinodhara Poojary were present.
