Brahmavar: Teachers visit students to check online education

Brahmavar:Amid Covid-19, schools and colleges are closed due to which most of the schools are conducting online education. But, teachers are struggling to monitor students and their academic progress. However, Brahmavar government PU college teachers are visiting the students to find whether the students are doing well in their academics.
The college has 900 students spread over the eighth standard to PUC. The students are located in areas including Barkur, Kokkarne, Avarse, Santhekatte, Kundapur, Sastan etc
Teachers are allotted to each area and they are responsible to visit the students and assess whether they are getting proper education through online. At present, classes are conducted at 68 spots and in many cases one spot is selected for the nearby students to gather. It is said that the students are personally taught and explained difficult chapters for better understanding
