K’taka COVID-19 update: 7385 new cases; 6231 discharges; 102 deaths on Aug 19

Bengaluru: From the midnight of August 18 to the midnight of August 19, 7,385 new cases of COVID-19 cases were reported from across the State.

6,231 infected people recovered and 102 infected people died during this same period.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the State has now reached 2,56,975. Of these 82,149 cases are active and out these active cases 705 cases are in Intensive Care Units.

The total death toll in the State due to COVID-19 is 4,429.

Bengaluru Urban district again stands first in the number of cases reported with 2,919.

Other districts numbers are Shivamogga (188), Mysuru (253), Bellary (483), Belgaum (358), Udupi (351), Dharwad (159), Davanagere (245), Hassan (196), Dakshina Kannada (177) Mandya (109), Bagalkote (159), Kalaburagi (210), Raichur (111), Gadag (114), Koppala (132), Haveri (111), Tumkur (138), Uttara Kannada (115), Chamarajanagar (120), Vijayapur (112) Chikmagalur (124), Tumkur (138), Kolar (69), Chikkaballapur (76), Bengaluru Rural (77), Chitradurga (60), Bidar (85), Yadagiri (68) and Kodagu (46).
