K’taka CM Yediyurappa and others share greetings on Ganesha Chaturthi

Bengaluru: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and many other political dignitaries in the State have greeted the entire State and country on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

The Chief Minister celebrated worshipped Lord Vinayaka at his residence ‘Kaveri’ and later tweeted: “A very happy and devotional Ganesha Chaturthi to all devotees in the country. May the Siddhi Vinayaka put Karnataka on the path to progress, provide us with the strength to overcome obstacles and give all people health, prosperity and happiness.”

“I pray that the Vigneshwara will relieve all the ‘vignas’ (obstacles) in the world and bring happiness, peace and health to all. Celebrate the festivities with social distancing and simplicity,” tweeted Deputy Chief Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan.

“On the occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi, I wish all devotees of the lord happiness and contentment. All your celebrations be joyous. Focus especially on your and your family’s health on this occasion” tweeted former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

“Let the Vigna Nivaraka Vinayaka, (Vinayaka – the reliever from all problems) alleviate the world from the problem of COVID-19. Let us conserve the environment by worshipping eco-friendly Gauri Ganesh statues,” stated former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.

Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to the people of the country. I wish the Lord brings progress to all of your lives. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic let us celebrate the festival with utmost precaution, tweeted KPCC president DK Shivakumar.
