Udupi: Marijuana smuggled in bamboo stalks busted

Brahmavara: More than 45 kilograms of marijuana smuggled in from Uttar Pradesh was busted by the police on August 22 near here after a tip-off from the Udupi District Crime Intelligence Bureau.
The marijuana was concealed inside the stalks of bamboo being carried in a truck.
The police have arrested the driver of the truck and his associate. A case has been registered and investigation has been started.
