Ramnagara: People of the State should be cautious when installing Lord Ganesha statues. Incidences of COVID-19 across the State are increasing, hence precaution must be taken during the celebrations and strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the State government said KPCC President DK Shivakumar.
Speaking to reporters after paying homage to his father’s at his samadhi at his hometown of Dodda Aalahalli he said that this is a tradition in their family to perform a special pooja to honour their ancestors on Ganesh Chaturthi.
Shivakumar’s mother Gauramma and wife Usha Shivakumar also attended the pooja.
Reacting to Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s statement that his phone was not tapped Shivakumar stated that he suspects that his phone was being tapped and he has registered a complaint regarding it. He will speak after the investigation on it is complete.
