DK COVID-19 update: 193 new cases; 164 discharges; 5 deaths on Aug 23

Mangaluru, Udupi: 193 new cases were detected on August 23 across the Dakshina Kannada district on August 23.

In the same day, 164 discharges and 5 deaths also occurred in the district.

The tallies in the district now stand at 10,330 total cases and 310 deaths.

Presently, there are 2,343 active cases in the district.

In Udupi, 117 new cases were detected while 309 were discharged on the same day.

The total tallies in the district stand at 10,133 cases and 84 deaths while 2,648 cases are active.
