Chikmagalur: A Mahindra Bolero car fell into the canal after losing control. The incident occurred at Lakkavalli in Tarikere taluk in the district.
Santosh Jain and his wife Sarvamangala were travelling in the vehicle. Santosh, who was driving, lost control of the vehicle before it fell into the canal.
Santosh was saved however his wife is still missing. A search operation is ongoing to find her.
