Interstate bus services to resume soon: Savadi

Bengaluru: Karnataka deputy chief minister and transport minister Laxman Savadi on Tuesday said that the state government would soon resume bus services to neighbouring states.

With easing of Covid-19 restrictions, the government is planning to resume KSRTC, NWKRTC And NEKRTC buses to other states especially Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Telangana. If other states consent to the same, the bus services will be resumed soon, he told reporters.

“The state government is already operating bus service to Andhra Pradesh. The transport department has written a letter to other states seeking permission to resume services keeping in view the demands of the public,” Savadi added.
