CCB police seize 204 kg ganja, arrest three persons

Bengaluru: In a major haul, the CCB Anti Narcotics Wing seized 204 kg of marijuana, valuing around Rs one crore and arrested three persons.

The arrested have been identified as Sameer, a resident of Mysuru; Kaisar Pasha and Ismail Sharif, both residents of Chikballapur. Three mobile phone phones, a container lorry and an Indigo car used in drug trafficking were confiscated by police.

The seized drugs were sourced from Andhra Pradesh and was being transported in a container.

The ganja was meant to be supplied in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Ramanagar, Chikkamagaluru and Chikkaballapur districts. It is gathered that they were smuggling drugs in Tamil Nadu and Kerala as well.
