Vijayapura: Shivanand Jagannath Badigera (29), an Indian border security officer who was on duty in Jammu and Kashmir, was killed by an electrical short circuit on Sunday, Aug 30.
Shivanand belonged to Basarakoda, Muddebiha taluk of Vijayapur district. He served in the Electricity Division of the Jammu and Kashmir border security force
It is said that the tragedy occurred during power maintenance work at BSF house in Jammu on Sunday, Aug 30
Shivanand joined BSF 9 years ago and his brother is also serving in the army.
