K’taka COVID-19 update: 6495 new cases; 7238 discharges; 113 deaths on Aug 30

Bengaluru: On August 30, 6,495 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State on August 30. On the same day, 7,238 people were discharged after recovering from the virus and 113 died from the virus.

The total cases in the State has increased to 3,42,423 with 87,235 of them active and 747 active cases admitted to Intensive Care Units.

The death toll in the State due to the virus now stands at 5,702.

Districts with high incidences of COVID-19 include Bengaluru Urban 1,862, Mysuru 405, Ballari 365, Tumakuru 316, Chitradurga 286, Dharwada 279, Dakshina Kannada 270, Davanagere 257, Hassana 217, Koppala 200, Gadag 178, Bagalakote 172, Shivamogga 168, Kalaburagi 161, Mandya 159, Belagavi 154, Raichuru 140, Yadagiri 122 and Chikkamagaluru 100.
