Bengaluru riots: CCB raids SDPI offices

Bengaluru: According to reports, CCB officials have raided and inspected documents at Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) offices in Bengaluru in connection with the riots at DJ Halli and KJ Halli on the night of August 11.

Three offices of SDPI, including the SDPI headquarters near Halasuru Gate, have been raided. The party’s office in DJ Halli was also raided and laptop and computer were seized.

The CCB team led by ACP Jagannath Rai had obtained a search warrant from a court and conducted the raids, the report said.

The report further added that CCB officials have not provided any details on what information and documents were seized from the three offices during the raid.
