Three Pawan Kalyan fans electrocuted to death while setting up banner

Chittoor: Three men were electrocuted to death on Tuesday, September 1 while setting up a banner dedicated to actor-politician Pawan Kalyan to celebrate his birthday in Karlagatta village in Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh.
The deceased were identified as Somasekar (30), his brother Rajendra (32), and his friend Arunachalam (28). Three people are also injured in the incident.
On the occasion of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan’s birthday on Wednesday, the fans were eructing banners of their beloved actor. However, the banner hit an electric wire and lead to the tragic incident.
Filmmaker Boney Kapoor, the producer Kalyan’s upcoming movie Vakeel Saab, released a statement on behalf of the film’s team and announcing financial aid to families.
“With heavy hearts, we express our deepest condolences to the families of the three fans who unfortunately lost their lives. We, along with millions of others, express our solidarity to their families in this hour of grief. We come forward to announce financial assistance of ₹ 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased,” the statement read.
“We wish a speedy recovery to the injured. We also request all fans to value their lives and be safe,” Boney Kapoor’s statement added.
The Jan Sena party expressed its condolences over the incident and offered Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
