Kundapur: Man killed as speeding lorry hits scooter

Kundapur: In a shocking incident, a man was killed after his two-wheeler was hit by a speeding lorry on national highway 66 at Tallur, Kundapur. The man has been identified as Seetharam Shetty (57), a resident of Tallur village
It is said that he was employed in a shop dealing in plastic products near Shastri Circle and was returning home after working hours and a speeding lorry knocked him down from behind.
Meanwhile, a jeep driver tried to avoid hitting Seetharam’s vehicle and dashed against the road divider.
Kundapur traffic police officials have visited the spot and registered a case.
