Karnataka Floods: Central team to undertake 3-day visit from Sept 7

Bengaluru: A six-member team from the Central Government will undertake a three-day tour to the State to assess the damage caused by heavy rains and floods.
Speaking to reporters at Vidhana Soudha here, Minister R Ashok said that a team of officers led by KV Pratap will arrive in Bengaluru on September 7 and meet BS Yediyuarppa to discuss the flood situation.
Later, the team will visit the flood-affected areas namely – Kodagu, Belagavi, Bagalkot and Vijaypura areas and return to the state capital on September 9.
On August 25, the chief minister had undertaken an aerial survey and collected all data pertaining to flood damage.
