Bengaluru riots: Fact-finding committee submits report to CM

Bengaluru: A fact-finding committee headed by retired chief secretary Madan Gopal has filed its report on September 4 about the recent riots in the city’s DJ Halli and KJ Halli.

The report was submitted by Madan Gopal on behalf of the committee to Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa.

Committee members were present during the occasion.

On August 11, riots broke out in Kaval Byrasandra’s KG Halli and DJ Halli. Pulikeshi Nagar Corporator Akhand Srinivas Murthy’s residence, KG Halli and DJ Halli police stations were attacked by the rioters.

Police have arrested hundreds of rioters so far.
