Bantwal: Rs 70k cash stolen from petrol pump

Bantwal: Miscreants on Thursday night stole Rs 70,000 in cash from Dharmashree Petrol Bunk at Daikinakatte on BC Road-Punjalakatte road here on Thursday night.
The incident came to light on Friday morning. The thieves entered the office room by breaking open the lock on the shutter and made away with the cash on Thursday night.
Belthangady Police Circle Inspector Sandesh and Punjalakatte PSI Soumya visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
