With meagre 25k salary, Ravi Shankar led lavish lifestyle: Sources

Bengaluru: Ravi Shankar, an acquaintance of actress Ragini who has been arrested in connection with the drug racket in the Sandalwood film industry was reportedly living a lavish lifestyle despite being a Grade 2 officer at the RTO office.

CCB police probing the case had arrested Ravi Sankar for alleged link with drug peddlers and have also detained Ragini Dwivedi following raids at her residence. Police have got custody of Ravi Sankar for 5 days to investigate the case.

As per sources, Ravi Shankar’s monthly salary at the RTO office is around Rs 25,000 but he was spending lavishly. Sources said that he used to arrive at the office in an auto-rickshaw but post office hours he drives around in a Benz vehicle.

During the probe, Ravi Shankar said that he earned a good sum of money by getting fancy number registrations done for celebrities.
